Elphie. My mom named her because she is obsessed with Wicked.
This is what she sent my family after telling us her name. “She is named after Elphaba from the musical Wicked. She is an amazing character, and I love her! Elphaba is resilient, kind, misunderstood and rises above her challenges. And, she wears all black, like the color of her fur. We thought it matched her personality perfectly. We're calling her Elphie. We got home a little bit ago. She's unsure of things, and we're just hanging with her.”
